MFT Stamps March Release Countdown Day 2

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Day 2 of the count down to the MFT March Release! There's only 2 days left to the big release day!

Today I have a fun birthday bridge card to share with you featuring images from the new Welcome to Adventure and Paradise Pals sets. This was my first attempt at a bridge card and it was so much fun. Have you ever made a bridge card? As soon as I saw the entrance from the YUZU Welcome to Adventure set, I immediately thought of the bridge card design. Although I may have gone a little wild with all of the flamingos!

I stamped these images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers. I used the coordinating Welcome to Adventure Die-namics and Paradise Pals Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Flamingos: RV10/21/13/14, Y15/17
Entrance/Planters: C0/1/3
Wood Sign: E23/25, C0, RV10/21/13/14, Y15/17
Trees/Bushes: YG01/03, E23/25

For the bridge card component, I used a piece of Smooth White card stock (4.25" x 8"). The Slimline Cloud Edges stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink were used to create the background. I also used some Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn to add a bit of green grass to the foreground. I used Extreme Black Hybrid Ink to stamp a sentiment from the Paradise Pals set.

Once the inks were dried, I used a scoring board to score my panel at 1.25", 2.5", 4.5" and 5.75" from the left. I folded the panel in a zig-zag pattern to create the bridge card shape.

I used a piece of Sour Apple cardstock and one of the Outside the Box Grassy Hills Die-namics to create an extra shelf for the recessed part of the card design. I ink blended of Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink for some dimension and trimmed a bit of the length off to fit into the card.

Finally, all of the colored images were adhered to the card with liquid adhesive.
