MFT Stamps April Outside The Box Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends! Happy Friday! There's a new Outside the Box Challenge from My Favorite Things. The theme this month is People. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a sweet little boxcard to share with you today featuring these absolutely adorable images from the new YUZU Shout It From The Rooftops. This new YUZU line, illustrated by one of my fellow MFT Design Teammates Yan Au, is just so amazing. Are these not the cutest little boy and girl? Sooo much cuteness! Oh ! I also added a few butterflies from the BB Adorable Elephants set.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted with gel pens. I used the coordinating YUZU Shout It From The Rooftops Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Skin: E0000/000/00/21/11/93
Hair: E30/33/35/37
Jeans: B91/93/95/97/99
Pink: RV10/21/23
Light Blue: B000/00/02
Yellow: Y11/15
White: C00

Smooth White, Kraft, Sno Cone, and Sour Apple cardstock were used with the Outside the Box Die-namics, Outside the Box Low Profile Add-On Die-namics, Outside the Box Grassy Hills Die-namics to diecut the necessary parts for the boxcard. I added a hint of Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink to the edge of the grassy hills for a bit of dimension. I assembled all of the parts with liquid adhesive.

I used Smooth White, Kraft, Sour Apple and Green Day cardstock to diecut some clouds and trees with the Cloudy With a Chance of Rain Die-Namics and Tree Builder Die-namics. I did some quick and very basic coloring with Copic markers (C00, E33 and YG03) to add some texture and dimension to my diecuts.

I took another piece of white card stock and stamped a sentiment from the stamp set before diecutting it out with one of the faux stitched panels from the boxcard die set. I adhered all of the colored images and diecuts to the boxcard with liquid adhesive. To achieve the floating effect, the butterflies were attached to the boxcard with some acetate strips.
