MFT Stamps April Release Countdown Day 2

Hello, Crafty Friends! I am so excited! There's only 2 days left until the big April Release! 

I have a clean and simple welcome baby card to share with you today featuring the new Special Spot in My Heart set so beautifully illustrated by Rachelle Anne Miller. The giraffes in this set are sooo adorable and can be used for so many different occasions. Today, I have decided to use them to welcome a baby girl into the world.

I stamped these super cute images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and gel pens. I used the coordinating Special Spot in My Heart Die-namics to cut them out. 

COPIC COLORS

Pink: RV0000/000/10/21/23

Brown: E50/51/53

I used a piece of Smooth White card stock and trimmed it with the scallop die from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. I also diecut the letters for "BABY" with the In Stitches Alphabet Die-namics. For extra dimension, I diecut the letters 5 times -- 4 in Smooth White and 1 in Kraft card stock -- and adhered them with liquid adhesive.

I stamped a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Baby set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of Black Licorice cardstock and white heat embossed it.

I adhered all of the colored images onto the panel with some foam tape for some added dimension and interest. I adhered the letters and sentiment strip with liquid adhesive. I adhered the scalloped panel onto a piece of Kraft cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). Finally, I adhered the panel to a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5").
