MFT Stamps April Release Countdown Day 4

Hello, Crafty Friends! I am so excited! There's only 4 days left until the big April Release!

Today I have a sweet birthday card to share with you featuring the new Sunshine Friends set that is so beautifully illustrated by Stacey Yacula. I have also used the new Rolling Hills Scene Stencil to create the hilly background.

I stamped the adorable images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and gel pens. I used the coordinating Sunshine Friends Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Bear: E50/51/53/33
Duck: Y11/13/15/19, Y35/38
Bees: Y0000/11/13, W3/5/7, G0000 BG10
Flower: RV000/00/10/21/23/25, Y11/13/15, YG00/01/03
Tree: YG00/01/03/17, E21/23, Y21 YR21/23

I used a piece of Smooth White card stock and some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks to add a subtle Sky to the background. Then I used the new Rolling Hills Scene Stencil and some Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide to create the hilly background. I trimmed the panel out with one of the A2 Stitched Rectangle Set 2 Die-namics. I then adhered the panel to another piece of Smooth White card stock trimmed just an 1/8" smaller on each side than a piece of Poppin' Pink cardstock (4.25" x 5.5").

I adhered the tree directly onto the panel with liquid adhesive. The critters were adhered to the panel with foam tape for added dimension. I then adhered the panel to a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5").

I stamped a sentiment from the set with MFT Extreme Black ink on a piece of white cardstock before trimming it out with one of the sentiment strip dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. I finished the card with some sparkling clear sequins.
