MFT Stamps Color Challenge 188

Hello Crafty Friends! There's a new Color Challenge up on the My Favorite Things Stamps Blog. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a clean and simple card to share with you today featuring these adorable dinosaurs  from the new TI Sweet Señorita set and Thank You Die-namics. I am a firm believer in stretching your crafty supplies. This adorable image originally has the girl holding a taco. While I do love tacos, I thought I'd create a more Springy card to match the Springy colors of this Color Challenge. So I  adhered a bouquet of flowers in her hand.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers. I used the coordinating TI Sweet Señorita Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Skin: E000/00/21/11/13
Hair: E30/33/35/37
Pink: RV000/10/21/23/25
Green: YG01/03
White: C00/0/1

I used a piece of Smooth White card stock and some Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink to add a subtle splash of color to the background. I trimmed the panel out with one of the A2 Stitched Rectangle Set 2 Die-namics. I adhered a piece of craft foam to the back of the panel for some added dimension before I adhered it to a piece of Sour Apple cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") which was then adhered to a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5").

For the sentiment, I diecut the Thank You Die-namics three times -- twice with Smooth White and once with Sour Apple cardstock. I stacked and adhered each of the layer with liquid adhesive before adhering it directly onto the white panel.

I added my colored image with some foam adhesive tape for some added dimension and interest.
