MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge 595

 

Hello Crafty Friends! Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a fun birthday card to share with you today featuring these adorable frogs from the new You Make Me Hoppy. This is my loose interpretation of this week's Sketch Challenge.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted with gel pens. I used the coordinating You Make Me Hoppy Die-namics to cut them out.

Frogs: YG00/01/03/17

Green: YG00/01/03/25/67

Brown: E23/25

Pink: RV52/55

Dragonfly: B000, W3

I took another piece of white card stock and trimmed it with the largest of the Inside & Out Stitched Arches STAX Die-namics. I used Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks to create the background. I stamped a sentiment from the Here's to You stamp set with MFT Extreme Black ink. I adhered the panel onto a piece of Smooth White cardstock (4" x 5.25"). 

I adhered all of the frogs and dragonfly onto the panel with foam tape for some dimension and interest. I adhered the remaining colored images onto the panel with liquid adhesive. 

I matted the panel with a piece of Limelight cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). Finally, I adhered the panel to a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5").
