MFT Stamps June Release Countdown Day 5

 

Hello, Crafty Friends! Guess what?! Today is the start of the MFT June Release Countdown! I am so excited to share a sneak peek with you from this amazing release. 

Today I have a Father's Day card that I made for an avid fisherman. My card features the absolutely adorable images from the new Reel-y Great Day illustrated by Stacey Yacula and the new Pastures, Ponds and Pools Stencil.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers. I used the coordinating Reel-y Great Day Die-namics to cut them out.

I used another piece of White card stock, the new Pastures, Ponds and Pools stencil and some Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks to add a subtle splash of color to the background.

For the sentiment, I stamped a sentiment from the Super Stache with Versamark Watermark ink and white heat embossed. I trimmed out the sentiment with one of the Blueprint 27 Die-namics.

I adhered all of the images to the inked panel with liquid adhesive. I added foam tape to the sentiment banner, bird, mouse and bear for a bit of added interest. I finished the card with a few clear sparkling sequins.
