MFT Stamps July Release Countdown Day 1

 

Hello, Crafty Friends! Guess what?! Tomorrow is the big day! The MFT Stamps July Release will be available tomorrow, Tuesday, July 12 at 10:00 am EDT! 

I have one more sneak peak inspiration for you. Today my fun birthday card features the new and super cute Chill Friends set! This set is just perfect for some summertime chilling with these adorable penguins. I added an ice cream cone from the new MSTN Sweet Treats to make an ice cream truck.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating Chill Friends Die-namics and MSTN Sweet Treats Die-namics to cut them out. I also die cut an extra truck and ice cream cone out of craft foam to adhere to the back of the colored image for dimension.

Truck: B0000/000/00/02, Y13, C1, W5

Ice Cream: RV10/21, E50/51/53/33

Trees: E31/33/35, YG01/03/17

I used the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics to trim out a piece of Smooth White cardstock. I took the Mini Cloud Edges stencil and Tumbled Glass and Antique Linen Distress Oxide inks to lightly blend some clouds and ground. 

I stamped a sentiment from the set directly onto the panel with MFT Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.

I adhered the colored image and the sentiment to the panel with liquid adhesive. The panel was adhered to a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5").
