MFT Stamps July Release Countdown Day 2

Hello, Crafty Friends! Guess what?! Only two more days until the MFT July Release! The birthday-filled release will be available on Tuesday, July 12 at 10:00 am EDT. Today I have TWO sneak peeks to share with you from this awesome release.

 

For my first card, I have a clean and simple card featuring the yummy images from the new MSTN Sweet Treats set. This set is packed with so many sweet treat images ranging from ice cream cones to cupcakes to donuts! And it also includes four perfectly matched sentiments.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock (4.25" x 5.5") with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. 

COPIC COLORS

Light brown cones/ice cream: E50/51

Medium brown cone/ice cream: E50/51/53

Dark brown cone/ice cream: E50/51/53/33

Bright Pink: RV10/21/23

Peachy Pink: R30/32

Ice Cream Sandwich: E33/35, R30/32

Ice Cream Bar: E35/39, R30/32/22, E31 (stick)

I used the largest of the Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics trim out the colored panel. I adhered the panel to a piece of Kraft cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") prior to adhering them to a Smooth White top-folding cardbase (4.25" x 5.5") with liquid adhesive.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of antistatic-treated Black Licorice cardstock. I added white embossing powder and heat embossed. I trimmed out the sentiment using one of the dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. Finally, I adhered the sentiment strip with some foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest.

For my second card, I have another clean and simple design featuring the adorable RAM Number Fun - 4 beautifully illustrated by Rachelle Anne Miller.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock (4.25" x 5.5") with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens.

Red: R22/24/29

Puddle: B0000
