MFT Stamps July Release Countdown Day 5

Hello, Crafty Friends! Guess what?! Today is the start of the MFT July Release Countdown! I am so excited to share a sneak peek with you from this amazing release.

Today I have a fun birthday card featuring the absolutely adorable images from the new YUZU Purr-fect Birthday and Eat Lots of Cake sets and the new Balloon Party Stencil.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating Purr-fect Birthday Die-namics and Eat Lots of Cake Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Skin: E000/00/21/11/93
Hair: E31/33/35/39/37
Clothing: E91/93/95/97/99, RV10/21/23, C0/1
Cake: E50/51/53/55
Frosting: RV10/21/23
Candles: RV23/25, Y13/15, Y13/15/38
Gifts: Y13/15, RV10/21/23/25

For the background, I took a piece of Smooth White cardstock (5.25" x 5.25") and ink blended some balloons with the new Balloon Party Stencil and Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Inks. I'm loving this new stencil! It makes it so easy to add on a festive background. I used a sparkle gel pen and a T-ruler to draw in some balloon strings.

For the sentiments, I stamped two sentiments from the Eat Lots of Cake set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of antistatic-treated Poppin' Pink cardstock. White embossing powder was added and heat embossed. The sentiments were trimmed out with the die from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics

I adhered the colored images and sentiment strips to the inked panel with foam tape for some dimension. The panel was then adhered to a piece of Poppin' Pink cardstock (5.5" x 5.5"). Finally I adhered the panel to a top folding Smooth White card base (5.5" x 5.5").
