MFT Stamps July Slimline Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends! There's a new Slimline Challenge from My Favorite Things. This month's theme is Life is a Beach. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

Today I have a mini slimline card to share with you featuring the YUZU Island Shell-ebration beautifully illustrated by our very own and very talented DT member Yan Au. Are these not the cutest images?!!! So adorable!!!

I stamped this adorable image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers. I used the coordinating YUZU Island Shell-ebration Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Tree: YG01/03/17, E31/33/35/39, E30/33/35/39 (coconuts)
Sand: E000/30/31/53/33
Surfboard/Pail: YG00/01/02, B0000/000/00/02, Y11/13/15
Ball: Y13/15, YG01/03, B000/00/02, R05
Crab: YR02 R05/08
Hermit Crab: YR02 R05/08, E51/53

For the background, I used the Mini Cloud Edges stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to create some clouds and masked off the top with tape and blended some Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks for the ocean. I trimmed out the panel with the Stitched Mini Slimline STAX Die-namics

I stamped a sentiment from the Life is a Beach with MFT Extreme Black ink. Liquid adhesive was used to decorate the card front and adhere the panel to a piece of Kraft cardstock (3" x 6") and a Smooth White cardbase (3" x 6").
