MFT Stamps July Vault Release Countdown Day 2

 

Hello, Crafty Friends! Today is the MFT July Vault Release Countdown Day 2! I am super excited to be participating in this awesome birthday themed vault release countdown! The vault will open on July 19 at 10:00 am EDT! 🎉

Today I have a fun birthday card to share featuring the Peek-a-Boo Polka Dots Die-namics, Wish Die-namics, and Essential Birthday Messages which will all be re-released from the vault. I've paired them with the new Joyful Giraffes set.

I stamped the images from the Joyful Giraffes onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating Joyful Giraffes Die-namics to cut them out. I also diecut an extra shape of each of the images to layer to the back of the colored images with liquid adhesive.

For the background, I took two pieces of Smooth White cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") and diecut them using the Peek-a-Boo Polka Dots Die-namics. Using liquid adhesive, I adhered the two layers together for some dimension before adhering them to the front of a side-folding Smooth White cardbase (4.25" x 5.5"). 

For the sentiment, I diecut the beautiful Wish Die-namics twice. Once with Wild Cherry and once with a white cardstock.  I diecut the flame out of Lemon Drop cardstock and colored it with Copic markers (Y38, R24). Using liquid adhesive, I adhered the white layer of letter to the back of the colored layers for some dimension. 

I stamped two of the sentiments from the Essential Birthday Messages onto anti-static treated Licorice Black cardstock with Versamark Watermark ink before adding white embossing powder and heat embossing. I fussy cut around the "make a" portion of one of the sentiments and used the sentiment strip die from Blueprints 27 Die-namics to diecut the other.

Finally, I adhered all of the sentiment parts and colored images onto the card front as shown in the picture.
