MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge 603

 

Hello Crafty Friends! Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a super clean and simple card to share with you today featuring this adorable turtle from the new RAM Turtley Awesome so beautifully illustrated by the incredibly talented Rachelle Anne Miller.

I stamped the image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and highlighted with gel pens. I used the coordinating Turtley Awesome Die-namics  to cut it out.

Turtle: G21/43/46, E21/23/25

I took a piece of Smooth White card stock and added some tape to mask off some strips that roughly resemble the sketch challenge. I used Spun Sugar Distress Oxide and the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil to create a background of clouds.

I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set directly onto the front panel. I trimmed out the panel with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. I adhered a slightly smaller piece of craft foam to the backside with liquid adhesive to create some dimension. I then adhered the panel to a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5"). 

I adhered the colored image onto the panel with foam tape. I finished the card with a few sparkling clear sequins.
