Hello, Crafty Friends! Today is the start of the MFT August Release Countdown! I am so excited to share a sneak peek with you from this amazing release. Although I am sad to see summer coming to an end, it always makes me happy to see the rich colors of the fall season.
Today I have a fall-themed card to share with you featuring the absolutely adorable images from the new SY Happy Pumpkin Season set, beautifully illustrated by Stacey Yacula, and the Tall Hello Die-namics.
I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating SY Happy Pumpkin Season Die-namics to cut them out.
COPIC COLORS
Bunny: E50/51/53, R000/00/30
Fox: YR20/21 Y17/38 YR16/27, E000, R00/30
Pumpkins: Y17/38 YR16/68/18
Pumpkin patch sign/trailer: E21/23/25/27
Tractor: R22/05/24/29, W2/3/4/5, W4/5/7
I used a piece of Smooth White cardstock (5" x 5"), Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks to lightly blend a splash of color to the background.
I stamped a sentiment from the set onto a piece of Smooth White cardstock with Versamark Watermark ink. I added some gold embossing powder and heat embossed it. I trimmed out the sentiment using one of the sentiment banner dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics.
I diecut the Tall Hello Die-namics twice. Once out of Red Hot, Lemon Drop, Butterscotch, Spiced Yam and Orange Zest cardstock. And once out of Smooth White cardstock, which was layered on the back of the colored cardstock for some dimension
I adhered the colored image and the sentiment to the panel with liquid adhesive. I strategically adhered some of the pumpkins and the tractor and trailer with foam tape for some dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to a Smooth White card base (5.5" x 5.5").
