MFT Stamps September Release Countdown Day 3

Hello, Crafty Friends! It's Day 3 of the MFT September Release Countdown! This awesome release will be available Tuesday September 13 at 10:00 am EDT!

Today I have a sweet card featuring the absolutely adorable images from the new YUZU Hoodie Weather set. Have you started collecting the sets from this YUZU line? The images are always so super sweet and cute! I've paired this set up with the new Winter Trees Die-namics for a warm autumn scene.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating YUZU Hoodie Weather Die-namics to cut them out.

For the background, I used two pieces of Smooth White cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). The first one, I used the Inside & Out Stitched Circle Die-namics and A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics to trim the edge and cut out a circle window. I just love the faux stitching from these dies! Just perfectly sized and spaced! For the second cardstock, I ink blended some Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide inks. I used the window in the first panel as a guide for my ink blending. Once I got the color that I wanted, I set the panel aside to allow it to dry while I worked on the rest of my card. Once dried, I trimmed the panel down to just a little smaller than my stitched panel.

I used the new Winter Trees Die-namics to diecut two trees out of Smooth White cardstock. I adhered them to the back of the faux stitched panel with some liquid adhesive. Then, I liberally added foam tape to the backside of this panel before adding the ink blended panel to the back of it. I adhered the panels onto a piece of Kraft cardstock (4.25" x 5.5")

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set with Memento Tuxedo Black onto a piece of Kraft cardstock. I used one of the Blueprints 27 Die-namics to trim out the sentiment and hand trimmed the straight ends with scissors. 

My pictures do not do it justice but there is a lot of dimensions to this card. I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment strip and colored images to the front panel. Finally, I adhered the panel to a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5").
