MFT Stamps September Release Countdown Day 4

 

Hello, Crafty Friends! It's the MFT September Release Countdown Day 4! Only 4 days left!!!

Today I have a really simple, almost-single layer Christmas card to share with you featuring the gorgeous images from the new DBD Pretty Poinsettias set. It's a very simple layout but one that can be easily replicated. All that you need to do is stamp several ahead of time and color on the go or when you get a chance. A simple way to start creating your stash of cards for the holidays.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock (4.25" x 5.5") with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. 

COPIC COLORS

Red: R05/08/24/29

Green: YG01/03/17

I trimmed the panel down to 4" x 5.25" and added a layer of craft foam to the back for some dimension before adhering it to a Black Licorice cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). 

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of Black Licorice cardstock. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. The sentiment was trimmed out with one of the dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics.

I adhered the sentiment onto the panel with foam tape. Finally, I adhered the panel onto a Smooth White cardbase (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few sparkling clear sequins.
