MFT Stamps September Release Countdown Day 2

 

Hello, Crafty Friends! It's Day 2 of the MFT September Release Countdown! This awesome release will be available Tuesday September 13 at 10:00 am EDT!

I have a super clean and simple Christmas card to share with you today featuring these absolutely adorable reindeer from the new MSTN Reindeer Love set. Aren't these the cutest reindeer? So adorable! I paired them up with the beautiful MSTN Be Merry Die-namics. I LOVE word dies! And I was over the moon for this one! The mixture of the cursive and print fonts was perfect and just stole my heart! 

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock (3.5" x 8.5") with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. 

COPIC COLORS

Reindeer: E53/33/23/39, E000/00/21, E41/42/43, R00, T3/5/7

Red: R08/24/29

Shadow: T0/1/2, 0

I diecut the new Be Merry Die-namics out of Red Hot and Eiffel Tower cardstock. The two sets of letters were adhered together with the gray slightly offset to create a shadow. Highlights were added to the red layer with a white gel pen. Using the negative of the diecut for ease of alignment, I adhered the letters onto the colored panel with liquid adhesive.

Finally, I adhered the panel onto a Smooth White cardbase (3.5" x 8.5"). I contemplated adding some embellishments but decided against them to keep the card clean and simple and to dedicate all of the attention to the beautiful word die and those adorable reindeer.
