Hello Crafty Friends! WooHoo! It’s here! The My Favorite Things September Release is now available! πππ Please visit the MFT shop and blog to check out the new products and many more inspirations from my fellow DT members.
Today I have a fun slimline card to share with you featuring the new Cozy Days With You set. This set is absolutely adorable! I love the little bunny that is flying the kite! I just love how dynamic the image is with her kite and scarf flying behind her!
I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating Cozy Days With You Die-namics to cut them out.
COPIC COLORS
Hedgehog: E50/51/53, E33/39, R30, W7
Bunny: E50/51/53/33, R00/30, E33
Dog: E53/33/39, R30, W7
Pumpkins/Leaves: Y15/17/38 YR04/09, YG03/17
Kite: R05/08/24/29, Y17
Red Scarf: R05/08/24/29
Orange/White Scarf: Y15/17 YR04/09
Red/Orange Scarf: R05/08/24/29, Y15/17 YR04
For the background, I took a piece of Smooth White cardstock (3.5" x 8.5") and lightly ink blended Speckled Egg and Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide inks to the top and bottom of the panel. Then I trimmed the edges off to remove any harsh edges and to bring the panel size down to 3.25" x 8".
For the sentiment, I diecut the necessary letters with Kraft cardstock and Impact Alphabet Die-namics. I diecut 2 sets of letters and adhered them together with liquid adhesive to give them some dimension. I added a bit of highlight with a white gel pen.
I adhered the letters and some of the leaves onto the ink blended panel with liquid adhesive. Then I added the rest of the colored images with some foam tape for a bit of interest and dimenstion. Finally, I adhered the panel onto a Smooth White cardbase (3.75" x 8.5").
