MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge 611

Hello Crafty Friends! Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a clean and simple thank you card to share with you today featuring this sweet image from PI Apple of My Eye. I paired it with the Pastures, Ponds & Pools stencil for a layout inspired by this week’s sketch challenge.

I stamped the image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted with gel pens. I used the coordinating Apple of My Eye Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Skin: E000/00/21/11/93
Hair: E33
Red: R22/08/24/29
Orange: Y17/38 YR04
Brown clothing: E33/23/57/47
White: C0
Branch: E31/23/25, YG01/03
Basket: E31/23

For the background, I used a piece of Smooth White cardstock, the Pastures, Ponds & Pools stencil and Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin and Spiced Marmalade Distressed Oxide inks to ink blend the shape resembling the sketch challenge.

I stamped a sentiment from the set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink directly onto the panel. I trimmed the panel with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. I adhered the panel onto a piece of Kraft cardstock (4.25" x 5.5").

The colored image was adhered to the panel with foam tape for some dimension and interest. I adhered the panel onto a Smooth White cardbase (4.35" x 5.5"). I finished the card with some sparkling clear confetti sequins.
