MFT Stamps Color Challenge 199

Hello Crafty Friends! There's a new Color Challenge up on the My Favorite Things Stamps Blog. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a clean and simple card to share with you today featuring these super sweet images from the BB Snow Buddies. I just love all of the Birdie Brown illustrations and this set is just a classic!

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and highlighted gel pens. I fussy cut the elephant and butterflies since I didn't have the coordinating BB Snow Buddies Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Skin: E000/00/21/11
Hair: E33/35
Snowman: G0000, Y17/38 YR04, E35
Aqua: G0000 BG10/11/15
Lavender: BV000/00/02/04
Gray: T0/2/4
White: T0/2
Black: T4/7

For the background, I took a piece of Sno Cone cardstock and used one of the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics to diecut the circle. I used a white gel pen to create some snow.

I used the Blueprints 27 Die-namics to diecut the scalloped panel out of Smooth White cardstock. For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set directly onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I adhered the scalloped panel to a piece of Grapesicle cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") with liquid adhesive. Then I adhered the Sno Cone circle, colored image and sentiment strip onto the scalloped panel with foam tape for some dimension and interest. I adhered the entire panel onto a Smooth White cardbase (4.25" x 5.5") with liquid adhesive.
