MFT Stamps October Release Countdown Day 3

Hello, Crafty Friends! It's Day 3 of the MFT October Release Countdown! This awesome release will be available Tuesday October 11 at 10:00 am EDT!

Today I have a clean and simple card to share with you featuring the new Peace Die-namics. I have paired this beautiful die with the new Mod & Merry and Inside & Out Christmas Greetings stamp sets for my attempt at an elegant easel card.

I took a piece of Smooth White cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") and Tumbled Glass, Prize Ribbon, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks to ink blend an ombré background. I allowed the panel to completely dry before stamping the trees from the Mod & Merry stamp set. The two outer trees were stamped with Picket Fence Distress ink for a lighter more subtle appearance. For the center tree, I applied anti-static powder to the panel before stamping the tree with Versamark Watermark ink. I applied white embossing powder, then heat set the embossing. I trimmed the very edge off of the panel to bring the size to 4" x 5.25" before adhering it to another piece of white cardstock (4.25" x 5.5").

I die-cut and layered the Peace Die-namics 3 times out of Smooth White cardstock for a bit of dimension. I adhered the letters to the panel with liquid adhesive while using the negative from my diecut as a guide.

For the inside sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the new Inside & Out Christmas Greetings with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of Smooth White cardstock. I used one of the Stitched Mini Slimline STAX Die-namics to trim out the sentiment. I diecut an additional strip from the same die to layer onto the back of the stamped one for extra height since it will serve as the stop for my easel card design.

For the easel cardbase, I took a piece of Smooth White cardstock (5.5" x 8.5") and scored it at 2.125" and 4.25" and folded along the score lines. I adhered the inked panel onto the bottom half of the front of the cardbase, as shown in the picture, with liquid adhesive. Finally, I adhered the inside sentiment strip with liquid adhesive for my stopper.
