MFT Stamps October Slimline Challenge

 

Hello Crafty Friends! There's a new Slimline Challenge from My Favorite Things. This month's theme is Christmas. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a super clean and simple mini slimline Christmas card to share with you today featuring the some stockings made with the new Stocking Trio Die-namics. I also used a sentiment from the new Mod & Merry stamp set and the beautiful newly released Christmas Text Paper Pad.

I diecut the parts of the stockings out of Smooth White and Wild Cherry cardstock using the Stocking Trio Die-namics. 

I trimmed out a patterned paper from the Christmas Text Paper Pad with the largest of the Stitched Mini Slimline STAX Die-namics to add a subtle splash of color to the background. I adhered a piece of craft foam to the back for some dimension. I adhered all of the stockings with foam tape.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Mod & Merry set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of anti-static treated Black Licorice cardstock. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. The sentiment was then trimmed out with one of the dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. I adhered it to the panel with foam tape.

Finally, the panel was adhered to a Smooth White card base (3.25" x 6.25").
