Hello Crafty Friends! Have you played along with the Weekly Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things? Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!
I took advantage of the World Card Making Day yesterday and sat down to do some coloring. I created this fairly clean and simple card to share with you today featuring these adorable images from BB Christmas sELFies. This was my loose interpretation of this week’s sketch challenge.
I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock (4.25” x 5.5”) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted with gel pens.
COPIC COLORS
Elf Skin: E000/00/21/11
Elf Hair: E31/33
Bear: W00/0/1, R00
Red: R22/24/27/29
Green: YG01/03/17
White: C00/0/1
Gold: Y11/15 YR23
Blue Background: B91/95/97
For the sentiment, I stamped a sentiment from the Bitty Holiday Wishes set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of anti-static treated Wild Cherry cardstock. I added white embossing powder and heat set the embossing. I used one of the sentiment strip dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics to diecut the sentiment out. Then I trimmed the ends with a pair of scissors.
I trimmed the colored panel down to 4" x 5.25" and adhered it onto a piece of Wild Cherry cardstock before adhering them onto a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5"). Finally, I added the sentiment with foam tape for a bit of dimension.
As always, I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card. Please also visit my INSTAGRAM feed for more inspirations.
