I have a fun Halloween rocker card to share with you featuring some super cute images from the newly released Streamside Studios Little Halloween 2 set. This set, illustrated by Shawne Arnold @shawnes_cards_and_art, is packed full of adorable bats, spiders and sentiments.
I printed out the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80 lb card stock. I colored the image with Copic markers and highlighted gel pens. I fussy cut the bats.
COPIC COLORS
Bats: T0/1/3/5/7/9, R000/00/30
Ghost: B0000
Spider: T0/1/3/5/7
Orange: Y17/38 YR04/09
For the rocker card design, I used a set of 3 consecutive stitched circle dies (4.5", 5", 5.5") and a plain circle die (4.5") to diecut the circles.
I used the smallest stitched circle die (4.5") to partially diecut the bottom half of the BOO! colored panel. Then, I used a craft knife and pair of scissors to fussy cut the upper half of the panel. I used the medium sized stitched circle die (5") to diecut a half circle out of orange cardstock. I used the largest circle to diecut a full circle out of black cardstock . I scored the black full circle at 2.75" and folded it in half.
The plain circle die (4.5") was used to diecut a circle out of acetate to give support to the elements on the upper half of my scene.
I adhered all of the circles as shown in the pictures with the acetate circle just directly behind the white half circle. Finally, I adhered the bats to the acetate circle, as shown in the pictures with liquid adhesive.
Here's a quick video of my rocker card in action:
