MFT Stamps November Release Countdown Day 4

 

Hello, Crafty Friends! It's Day 4 of the MFT November Release Countdown! This amazing release will arrive on Tuesday, November 8 at 10:00 am EST.

Today I have a fun boxcard to share with you featuring the absolutely adorable images from the new YUZU Playful Penguins set, beautifully illustrated by Yan Au. This has got to be my favorite set of this release! If you're at all familiar with my cards, then you know that I LOVE penguins! And I absolutely ADORE these super cute penguins!

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I stamped one of the sentiments from the set onto the signs with the same black ink. I used the coordinating YUZU Playful Penguins Die-namics to cut them out.

Red: R22/24/27/27

Ice/Igloo: B0000/000 

Signs:  E41/31/34/35

Silver: C0/1

Fishes: BG0000, B0000

Smooth White and Sno Cone cardstock were used with the Outside the Box Die-namics, Outside the Box Low Profile Add-On Die-namics, and Outside the Box Snow Drifts Die-namics to diecut the necessary parts for the boxcard. 

I used a white gel pen to add snow to the background. I also diecut a snowflake out of Smooth White cardstock and the smallest of the new Stackable Snowflakes Die-namics.

I assembled all of the parts of the boxcard with liquid adhesive. Finally, I decorated the boxcard with my colored images as shown in the picture.
