Hello, Crafty Friends! We're halfway through the MFT November Release Countdown! I am back with another sneak peek with you from this awesome release. The release will be available Tuesday, November 8 at 10:00 EST.
Today I have a clean and simple Christmas card to share with you featuring the beautiful images from the new DBD Winter Greenery set. The set includes an array of winter greens, berries and pine cones that are perfect to make cards for so many different occasions.
I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I also used Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink to stamp some of the pine needle images. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating DBD Winter Greenery Die-namics to cut them out.
COPIC COLORS
Green: YG01/17
Red Berries: R24/29
Red Bow: R22/24/27/29/39
Pine Cones: E15/17/18
I took a piece of Princess Pink cardstock (3.75" x 5") and used one of the A2 Circle STAX Die-namics to diecut a window out of the panel. I used the circle window as a guide as I arranged the colored images as seen on the pictures.
For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Bitty Holiday Wishes with Versamark Watermark ink onto an anti-static treated piece of white cardstock that I had colored with Copic R24/27 to get a better match to my colored images. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. I adhered the sentiment to the pink panel with some foam tape.
I adhered the pink panel onto a Smooth White cardbase (4.25" x 5.5") with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. I finished the card with some sparkling clear sequins.
