MFT Stamps November Slimline Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends! There's a new Slimline Challenge from My Favorite Things. This month's theme is Mini Slimline. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a clean and simple mini slimline Christmas card to share with you today featuring the new SY Polar Opposites set. These adorable images were beautifully illustrated by Stacey Yacula. I paired this winter-themed set with a sentiment from the Chill Holiday set in order to create more Christmas cards for my stash. I can't believe that Christmas is less than 6 weeks away!

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted with gel pens. I used the coordinating SY Polar Opposites Die-namics  to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Bears: YR30 E40, R00/30, E30/31, W1/3
Penguins: W3/4/5/6, R00, Y35/38
Glasses: BG70
Red: Y22/24/27/29

I very lightly stamped the landscape and tree images from the set onto a piece of Smooth White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide, I lightly ink blended a bit of blue sky in the background. I trimmed out the panel with the largest of the Stitched Mini Slimline STAX Die-namics.

I stamped a sentiment from the Chill Holiday set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I adhered the panel onto a piece of Wild Cherry cardstock. I adhered all of the colored images onto the panel with liquid adhesive and foam tape  for some dimension.

Finally, the panel was adhered to a Smooth White card base (3" x 6").
