MFT Stamps Color Challenge 203

Hello Crafty Friends! There's a new Color Challenge up on the My Favorite Things Stamps Blog. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a clean and simple birthday card to share with you today featuring this super sweet bear from the BB Beary Special Birthday set. I just love all of the Birdie Brown illustrations and this bear peeking out of the gift box is just the cutest! I used the new Colorful Confetti Background Stamp to add just a little color and interest to this otherwise clean and simple design.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and highlighted gel pens. I fussy cut the images since I didn't have the coordinating BB Beary Special Birthday Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Bear: E41/31/34/36, E49, R00
 Balloons: RV10/13/14/17
Gift Box: Y11/13/08/19, BG10/11/13/49

I stamped a sentiment from the set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of anti-static treated Black Licorice cardstock. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. I trimmed it out with a sentiment strip with a die from the Blueprint 27 Die-namics.

For the background, I stamped the new Colorful Confetti Background Stamp onto a piece of Smooth White cardstock with MFT Lemon Drop Premium ink. The second largest die of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics was used to trim out the inked panel which was then adhered to a piece of Lemon Drop cardstock (4.25" x 5.5").

I adhered the colored images and the sentiment to the panel with foam tape for some added interest. Finally, the panel was adhered to a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5").
