MFT Stamps Bear Hugs

 

Hello Crafty Friends! I have a sweet baby card to share with you today featuring these adorable  bears from the Bear Hugs set. I paired them up with a little chick from the YUZU Hunny Bunny set to create a card to welcome a little baby boy.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and highlighted gel pens. I used the coordinating Bear Hugs Die-namics and YUZU Hunny Bunny Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS

Bears: E50/51/53/33, E53/59 (nose), R00 

Chick: Y11/13/08/19, Y38

Blue: B21/24/26

White: C00/0/1

I used the Impact Alphabet Die-namics to diecut the letters for the word BABY out of Smooth White cardstock four times. I layered and adhered them with liquid adhesive for a bit of dimension. The stars dies from the newly re-released Blueprints 25 Die-namics were used to diecut the stars out of Lemon Drop cardstock. 

For the sentiment, I stamped  one of the sentiments from the Itty Bitty Baby stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of anti-static treated Black Licorice cardstock. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. The sentiment was then trimmed out with one of the dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. 

I adhered the letters and stars with liquid adhesive onto piece of Lazy Day cardstock that I had diecut with the scallop die from of the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. I added the colored images and sentiment strip with some foam tape for a bit of interest and dimension. Finally, I adhered the panel onto a top-folding Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5") and finished with a few white Nuvo Drops.
