MFT Stamps Color Challenge 205

Hello Crafty Friends! There's a new Color Challenge up on the My Favorite Things Stamps Blog. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a clean and simple card to share with you today featuring this super sweet elephant from the BB Adorable Elephants. I just love all of the Birdie Brown illustrations and this elephant set is a classic! I placed the elephant onto a mound of grass from the SY Scene Builder set. This card was inspired by the new Color Challenge: Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Tropical Teal and Cement Gray.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and highlighted gel pens.

COPIC COLORS
Elephant: T0/1/2/3/5, R00/30
 Butterflies/Flowers: 11/13/15
Balloon: BG10/11/15/09
Grass: YG01/23

I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set onto a piece of Lemon Drop cardstock. I trimmed it out with a sentiment strip with a die from the Blueprint 27 Die-namics.

The A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics was used to trim out the colored panel. I adhered the colored images with liquid adhsive and the sentiment to the panel with foam tape for some added interest. The panel was adhered to a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card with some sparkling clear sequins.
