MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge 631

Hello Crafty Friends! Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new Weekly Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a sweet card to share with you today featuring this adorable bunny from the recently released YUZU Hunny Bunny set. I have paired this cutie up with a heart-shaped shaker design inspired by this week's sketch challenge.

I stamped the images from the new YUZU Hunny Bunny set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating YUZU Hunny Bunny Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Bunny: E50/51/53/33/35, R00/20 (blush/ears), R20 (nose)
Pink: RV10/13/14
Red: R21/22/24/27/29

For the background, I took a piece of Smooth White cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") and ink blended the center with some Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide inks.

To create the shaker, I took another piece of Smooth White cardstock and diecut it the heart shaped die from the Box of Chocolates Die-namics and the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Square STAX Die-namics. On the back side of this panel, I adhered a piece of acetate large enough to cover the heart window and a double layer of foam tape to create a well for the shaker elements. I added some heart shaker bits from my stash and adhered the shaker frame to the inked background panel to seal up the shaker well.

For the sentiment, I stamped a segment of one of the sentiments from the Essential Sentiments stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of anti-static treated Black Licorice cardstock. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. The sentiment was then trimmed out with one of the dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics

I adhered the banner to the top of the shaker window with liquid adhesive. I adhered the bunny to the panel with foam tape for a bit of interest.

Finally, I adhered the panel to a top folding Smooth White cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
