MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge 632

Hello Crafty Friends! Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new Weekly Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a clean and simple card to share with you today featuring this super sweet elephant from the BB Adorable Elephants. I just love all of the Birdie Brown illustrations and this elephant set is definitely one of my favorites! I paired these beautiful images up with a clean and simple sentiment from the new Itty Bitty Love Notes.

I stamped the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and highlighted gel pens. I also applied some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen over the wings of the butterflies for a bit of sparkle. I fussy cut the images since I didn't have the coordinating BB Adorable Elephants Die-namics to cut them out.
COPIC COLORS
Elephant: W00/0/1/3/5, R00/20
 Yellow: Y11/13/08/19
Green: YG00/01/03/17
Pink: RV10/21/23/25

For the background, I used Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks and the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Slimline Grassy Edges Stencil to create a cloudy sky and a mound of grass on a piece of Smooth White cardstock (2" x 5.5").

For the sentiment, I stamped  one of the sentiments from the Itty Bitty Love Notes stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of anti-static treated Black Licorice cardstock. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. The sentiment was then trimmed out with one of the dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics

I adhered the inked panel to a Smooth White cardbase (4.25" x 5.5") with some foam tape for a bit of interest. I adhered all of the colored images and the sentiment strips the inked panel.  I kept the card clean and simple by finishing the card with just a few sparkling clear sequins.
