MFT Stamps March Release Countdown Day 3

Hello, Crafty Friends! It's Day 3 of the MFT March Release Countdown! We're halfway there! This wonderful release is filled with so many amazing products and will be available Tuesday, March 7 at 10:00 EST.

I have a sweet card to share with you today featuring the super cute new Hot Dog! set and the fun Diagonal Stripes Stencil.

I stamped the images from the Hot Dog! stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating Hot Dog! Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Dog: E50/51/53/33/37, W7
Shirt: BG0000/10/11/15
Collar: W5/7, Y13

For the background, I took a piece of Smooth White cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"), the new Diagonal Stripe stencil and some MFT Sno Cone Premium Dye ink to lightly blend a subtle background. I took another piece of Smooth White cardstock and trimmed it with the second largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. I adhered a piece of craft foam behind it for a bit of dimension before adhering it to the diagonal striped panel.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set onto a piece of anti-static treated Black Licorice cardstock with Versamark Watermark ink, added white embossing powder and heat embossed. The sentiment was diecut with one of the sentiment strip dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics set then trimmed straight at the ends with a pair of scissors.

I adhered all of the colored images and the sentiment strip onto the panels with foam tape for interest and dimension. I adhered the panel onto a Smooth White cardbase (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card by adhering some red clay hearts that I had in my stash.
