MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge 636

Hello Crafty Friends! Have you played along with this week's Weekly Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things? There's still time! Come and play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a super clean and simple birthday card to share with you today featuring this super sweet pup from the new YUZU Presents and Pupcakes set. Isn't he the cutest thing?! I just love all of the YUZU illustrations!

I stamped the YUZU Presents and Pupcakes images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and highlighted gel pens. I used the coordinating YUZU Presents and Pupcakes Die-namics to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Dog: E000/30/31/34/33, R000/00 (ears), R20 (cheeks)
Nose/Collar: W5/7
Red: R22/24/29
Blue: B21/24/26
Shadow: T0/1/2

I used the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics to cut out a two rectangles out of Smooth White cardstock using the largest and fourth smallest dies. I also used the fifth smallest die to cut out a rectangle out of Lazy Day cardstock.

On the blue rectangle, I repeatedly stamped some fun confetti stamps from the YUZU Presents and Pupcakes set with Cornflower ink. On the small white rectangle, I stamped a sentiment from the Essential Sentiments stamp set.

For bit of contrast, I trimmed a piece of Wild Cherry cardstock just slightly larger than the small white rectangle and a piece of Cornflower cardstock just slightly larger than the blue rectangle. I adhered the rectangles and colored images as shown in the picture with some liquid adhesive. Finally, I adhered the panels onto a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5").
