Hello Crafty Friends! Welcome to the Waffle Flower March Release Blog Hop! I’m happy and honored to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! Be sure to check out each stop in today’s blog hop for fun, inspiration, and chances to win some of these new release goodies!
I have three cards to share with you featuring the amazing product that will be available with this release.
My first card features the beautiful new Window Trio 1 Die and the awesome For the Guys Sentiments Stamp Set. I used two pieces of white cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). The first one, I diecut with the Window Trio 1 Die twice for my top panel. For the second white cardstock, I used Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide to ink blend an ombre panel. I adhered the two panels together with foam tape for a bit of interest and dimension.
For the sentiment, I used two of the sentiments from the For the Guys Sentiments Stamp set. For the "The Man, The Myth, The Legend" sentiment, I masked off parts of the sentiment before I stamped it in order to separate them into three separate sentiments. I stamped the sentiments onto a piece of anti-static treated black cardstock with Versamark Watermark ink, added white embossing powder and heat embossed. The sentiments were diecut with one of the sentiment strip dies from the Stacking Banners Die set. I fussy cut the "Dad" sentiment with a pair of scissors.
I adhered the sentiments to the panel with some foam tape. Finally, I adhered the panel to a white cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
My second card features the fun Baseball Dad Die and also features the awesome For the Guys Sentiments Stamp Set. I took a piece of white cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") and used masking tape to mask of a 1/4" border all around the panel. I used Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean to ink blend some color to my background.
I used the Baseball Dad Die to die cut some white baseballs and red stitching. I assembled them with liquid adhesive.
For the sentiment, I used two of the sentiments from the For the Guys Sentiments Stamp set. I stamped the sentiments onto a piece of anti-static treated blue cardstock with Versamark Watermark ink, added white embossing powder and heat embossed. The sentiments were diecut together with the baseball cap die from the Baseball Dad Die set.
I used foam tape to adhere the baseballs and cap onto the inked panel. Finally, I adhered the panel to a white cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
My last card features the fun Trophy Cup Die-n-Stencil set and also features the awesome For the Guys Sentiments Stamp Set. I diecut the trophy cup out of white cardstock. I used three shades of yellow and two shades of brown Distress Oxide inks and the stencil to ink up the trophy cup. I diecut a one out of black cardstock to adhere to the front of my trophy cup. I highlighted with a white gel pen.
For the background, I took a piece of white cardstock (4" x 5.25") and some Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean to ink blend some color to my background. I stamped one of the sentiments from the For the Guys Sentiments Stamp set directly onto the panel with black ink.
I used foam tape to adhere the trophy cup onto the inked panel. I adhered the panel to a piece of blue cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). Finally, I adhered the panel to a white cardbase (4.25" x 5.5") and finished the card with some sparkling clear confetti sequins.
