MFT Stamps April Release Countdown Day 5

Hello, Crafty Friends! It's the start of the MFT April Release Countdown! I am so excited to share a sneak peek with you from this awesome release. The release is filled with so many fun products! I can't wait to show you them over the next few days. The release will be available Tuesday, April 6 at 10:00 EDT.

Today, I am sharing a fun birthday shaker card featuring these adorable gnomes from the new Buzzing With Happiness set that I have paired up with the awesome Peek-a-Boo Honeycomb Die-namics. And of course, I couldn't pass up the chance to include a punny sentiment made with these fun Frosted Alphabet Die-namics. 

First, I stamped the Buzzing With Happiness images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers, highlighted gel pens and added some sparkle to the wings with a bit of Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen. I used the coordinating Buzzing With Happiness Die-namics to cut them out. 

I also diecut the letters BEE with the Frosted Alphabet Die-namics once out of Neenah Solar White and twice out of Black Licorice cardstock. I colored the frosting part with the same Copic color combo.

I took a piece of Smooth White cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") and used the new Peek-a-Boo Honeycomb Die-namics and the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics to trim the panel. I stamped some of the trail marks for the bees and one of the sentiments from the Bitty Birthday Wishes with MFT Extreme Black ink onto the panel.

For the shaker, I added a piece of clear acetate and foam tape behind the honeycomb to create a shaker well. I added some holographic gold sequins from my crafty stash and adhered a piece of Lemon Drop cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") to the back to seal up the shaker. 

Next, I adhered all of the colored images onto the front of the panel with foam tape for a bit of interest. Finally, I adhered the panel to a Smooth White cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
