Hello, Crafty Friends! WooHoo! The MFT April Release is here! This amazing release is now available for purchase! Be sure to visit the MFT Shop and blog for more details and inspirations.
I have one more project to share with you today and it features the new and absolutely gorgeous SY Bunny Bouquet set that is beautifully illustrated by Stacey Yacula. I will be honest, this very intricate image was a bit of a challenge for me. I have not had the chance to sit down and really color in quite some time. But I decided to take some time and do some no line coloring on this one. I am so glad that I did. Although I need (a LOT) more practice with no line coloring (well, coloring in general) I had so much fun coloring up this image.
I stamped the SY Bunny Bouquet image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Ink on 3 Fade Out ink. I colored the images with Copic markers, accented with a Copic multiliner, and highlighted with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS
Bunny: E50/51/53/33, R00/20
Pink Flowers: RV000/00/02/04/09/19, E33
Pink Berries: RV04/09/19
Top Yellow Flowers: Y11/13/08/19 E53, E53/33
Bottom Yellow Flowers: Y11/13/19, E33
Greens: YG01/03/17, YG03/17/67, YG03/17
Bow: RV09
I trimmed the panel with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. I adhered it to a piece of patterned paper from the new Springing for Houndstooth Paper Pad (4.25" x 5.5").
For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of anti-static treated Black Licorice cardstock. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. The sentiment was then trimmed out with one of the dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. I adhered it to the panel with some foam tape for a bit of interest.
Finally, I adhered the panel to a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5").
