MFT Stamps Color Challenge 209

Hello Crafty Friends! There's a new Color Challenge up on the My Favorite Things Stamps Blog. Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a pair of clean and simple cards to share with you today featuring the new Potted Pets Die-namics. I love that these adorable pots can be decorated and used for so many different occasions. These cards were inspired by the new Color Challenge: Jalapeño Popper, Princess Pink, Cotton Candy and Ripe Raspberry.

For both cards, I diecut all of the elements of the Potted Pets Die-namics out of Smooth White, Princess Pink, Cotton Candy, Ripe Raspberry and Jalapeño Popper cardstock.

For my first card, I also diecut two panels out of Smooth White and Princess Pink cardstock using the largest and third largest dies from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. On the pink panel, I stamped one of the sentiments from the new Word Bouquet Stamp set with MFT Extreme Black ink.

I assembled the pot and plant and adhered them onto the pink panel with liquid adhesive. I adhered the pink panel to the white panel then to a piece of Ripe Raspberry cardstock.

Finally, I adhered all of the panels to a Smooth White cardbase (4.25" x 5.5") and added some highlights with a white gel pen.

My second card was created in the same manner with the cat pot and the same combo of cardstock as the first card.

diecut a panel out of Smooth White cardstock using the second largest dies from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. I ink blended some MFT Cotton Candy Premium Dye ink add a splash of color to the center of the panel. I stamped one of the sentiments from the new Grow Together Stamp set with MFT Extreme Black ink.

I assembled the pot and plant and adhered them onto the white panel with liquid adhesive. I adhered a piece of craft foam to the back of the white panel before I adhered it to a piece of Cotton Candy cardstock.

Finally, I adhered all of the panels to a Smooth White cardbase (4.25" x 5.5") and added some highlights with a white gel pen.
