MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge 642

Hello Crafty Friends! Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new Weekly Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things. Come and play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!

I have a fun birthday card to share with you today featuring one of my favorite MFT birthday products: the absolutely adorable Birdie Brown Mice Day to Celebrate set. I love all of the Birdie Brown illustrations and absolutely adore these mice! I just love the expressions on their little faces!

I stamped the images from the Mice Day to Celebrate onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating Mice Day to Celebrate Die-namics to cut them out with.

COPIC COLORS
Mice: E50/51/53/33, R00/20, R22, W7
Red: R22/24/29
White: C00/0/1

I took a piece of Smooth White cardstock (4.5" x 6.5") and the third smallest die from the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics to diecut three windows into the panel to resemble the layout of the sketch challenge.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Bitty Birthday Wishes set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of anti-static treated Black Licorice cardstock. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. The sentiment was then trimmed out with one of the dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. I adhered it to the panel with some foam tape for a bit of interest.

I adhered the colored images to the white panel. I adhered craft foam to the back of the white panel before I adhered it to a piece of Blue Yonder cardstock (5" x 7"). Finally, I adhered the  panel to a Smooth White cardbase (5" x 7").
