Everything Wonderful Embroidery Thread Add-On (Smooth White, 2 Assorted Colors Embroidery Thread)
Today, I have a stitched birthday card to share with you featuring some floral designs that I made using the Everything Wonderful Card Kit. I enjoy sewing and have had experience with embroidering but this was my first time stitching on cardstock. I have got to admit, this was a whole lot of fun! The stiff cardstock was a lot easier to work with in the sense that it stayed straight making it much easier to keep your stitches uniform.

First, I diecut all of the necessary pieces from the Framing Foliage Die-namics out of Smooth White, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Summer Splash and Grape Jelly cardstock. I used some Copic markers (YG23/25) to add a bit of shading to the leaves.
For my flowers, I used DMC 6-Strand Embroidery Cotton Thread (Blanc, 209) as well as DMC Diamant Metallic Thread (Light Silver) to add some stitched details to my flowers. These coordinating threads are available as Add-ons to the Everything Wonderful Card Kit. Once finished, I adhered the flowers and leaves as shown in the picture with liquid adhesive.

For the sentiment, I diecut the Happy word and shadow from the Happy Everything and Happy Words Die-namics out of Smooth White and Summer Splash cardstock. I layered and adhered them with liquid adhesive. For my secondary sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Everything Wonderful Stamp set with MFT Extreme Black ink directly onto a piece of Smooth White cardstock trimmed with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX set 2 Die-namics.
I adhered the flowers and Happy word die to the white panel. Then I adhered the panel to a piece of Summer Splash cardstock before adhering it to a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5").
