MFT Stamps May Release Countdown & GIVEAWAY: 4 Days Left Until Release Day

Hello, Crafty Friends! It's the second day of the MFT May Release Countdown! This release is filled with so many amazing products and will be available Tuesday, March 7 at 10:00 EST.

Today, I have a fun birthday boxcard to share with you featuring the new and absolutely adorable  YUZU Little Rascal set! I just adore all of the super cute critters in the YUZU line! And I love, love, love the facial expressions that are on these little cuties!

I stamped the images from the YUZU Little Rascal set and the balloon bouquet from the YUZU Presents and Pupcakes set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating YUZU Little Rascal Die-namics and YUZU Presents and Pupcakes Die-namics to cut them out.

Raccoons: T0/1/3/5/7, R000/00

Balloons: B000/01/04, Y11/13/08/19, RV02/04/09

Flowers: Y13/08, RV02/04/09, YG01/03/17

Smooth White cardstock and a patterned paper from the new Houndstooth Bright Paper Pad were used to cut out all of the necessary parts of the Outside the Box Level Up Die-namics and Outside the Box Grassy Hills Die-namics. Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink was used to ink blend a little color to the background panel. Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks were used to color the grassy shelves.

For the sentiment, I used a piece of tape to mask off and partially stamp of one of the sentiments from the Pop-Up Phrases set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of anti-static treated Black Licorice cardstock. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. The sentiment was then trimmed out with one of the dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. 

I assembled the parts of the boxcard with liquid adhesive. I decorated the boxcard as shown in picture by attaching the colored images onto the boxcard shelves with liquid adhesive. A clear acetate strip was used to reinforce the raccoon with the balloons.
