MFT Stamps June Release Countdown: 4 Days Until Release Day & GIVEAWAY

Hello, Crafty Friends! It's the second day of the MFT June Release Countdown! This release is filled with so many amazing products and will be available Tuesday, June 13 at 10:00 EDT. 

I Love Spending Time With You! Today, I have a sweet beach scene card to share with you featuring the new and absolutely adorable  YUZU Being a Grandparent is the Best set! I just adore all of amazing illustrations in the YUZU line and look forward to the new sets each month! And this set did not disappoint! How cute is this set?!!!

I stamped the images from the YUZU Being a Grandparent is the Best set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. After coloring the images, I created a mask to isolate the dress and shirt. Then, I used Picket Fence Distress Ink to stamp the flower and leaf images onto the dress and shirt. I used the coordinating YUZU Being a Grandparent is the Best Die-namics to cut them out.

Sandcastle: E30/31/34 

For the background, I used a couple of patterned papers from the new Sand, Surf & Sky Paper Pad. I trimmed them to 4" x 5.25" and used one of the dies from the new Under the Sea Die-namics to create a border for the sand.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set directly onto the sand panel with MFT Extreme Black ink. I adhered the panels together and decorated with the colored images using liquid adhesive. 

Finally, I adhered a piece of craft foam to the back side of the panel before adhering it to a Smooth White card base (4.25" x 5.5").
