MFT Stamps June Release Countdown: 5 Days Until The Release & GIVEAWAY

Hello, Crafty Friends! It's the start of the MFT June Release Countdown! I am so excited to share a sneak peek with you from this amazing release. There are so many fun products in this release and I can't wait to show you them over the next few days. The June release will be available Tuesday, June 13 at 10:00 EDT.

We Mermaid For Each Other! I have a fun boxcard to share with you today with an underwater scene featuring these adorable mermaids from the new Mermaid For Each Other set as well as elements from the Oceans of Fun set and the Under the Sea Die-namics.

I stamped the images from the Mermaid For Each Other set and the Oceans of Fun set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I also diecut some elements from the Under the Sea Die-namics out of the same Neenah white cardstock as well as Cement Gray cardstock. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating Mermaid For Each Other Die-namics and Oceans of Fun Die-namics to cut the images out. 

I diecut the necessary parts from the Outside the Box Die-namics and Outside the Box Low Profile Add-On Die-namics and the Outside the Box Snow Drifts Add-On Die-namics out of Smooth White cardstock. I used Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks to blend an oceanic background across the entire back panel. Then I used Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks to blend the sand and added some dotted details with Copic markers and a gel pen.  I assembled the parts with liquid adhesive.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Mermaid For Each Other set with MFT Extreme Black ink onto a piece of white cardstock and diecut with one of the dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics set.

I decorated the boxcard as seen in the pictures with liquid adhesive. Hopefully it is not visible but I have used clear acetate strips to secure some of the colored images.
