MFT Stamps July Release Day

Have a Sweet Birthday! Today, I have a sweet birthday card to share with you featuring these super cute friends from the new SY Cotton Candy Critters that is beautifully illustrated by Stacey Yacula. Her illustrations are always so adorable!

I stamped the images from the SY Cotton Candy Critters stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating SY Cotton Candy Critters Die-namics to cut them out.

For the background, I took a piece of white card stock (4.25" x 5.5") and ink blended with some Kitsch Flamingo and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks. Once the panel was dry, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set directly onto the panel with MFT Extreme Black ink.

Next, I diecut the largest frame from the new Classic Rectangle Frames Die-namics out of white cardstock 3 times to create some dimension. I layered and adhered all of the layers of the frames to each other with liquid adhesive. Then, I adhered the frame to my inked panel also with liquid adhesive. 

Finally, I adhered all of my colored images with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest.
