Hello, Crafty Friends! Today is the Preview day for the MFT July Release! I am SO excited to share a sneak peek with you from this amazing release. Oh you are going to LOVE this release! There are so many awesome products and I can't wait to show them to you over the next few days. The July release will be available tomorrow Tuesday, July 11 at 10:00 EDT.
The biggest news of this release is that we have a brand new illustrator, Jenoblade, joining the team and she has created an absolutely AMAZING new line of stamps! AND if that is not enough, there is not one, not two but THREE of her stamp sets being released in this July release! Oh I can't wait to show you how absolutely ADORABLE they all are!
The second exciting news is that there are two huge word (sentiment) dies in this July release! If you're at all familiar with my cards, you'll notice that I LOVE word and alphabet dies! It's been a little while since MFT release the last bold word die of this kind. And I'm so excited that TWO of them are being released this month! Yay!!!
Today, I have a fun birthday card to share with you and it features one of the new Jenoblade sets, Happy Birthday to My Favorite Gnomie as well as one of the new word dies, Wish Big Today. Aren't they both BEAUTIFUL?!

For the background, I took a piece of white card stock (4.25" x 5.5") and created a cloudy background with the Cloud stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide. Then, I created a grassy edge strip of white cardstock trimmed with one of the Mini Slimline Outside the Box Grassy Hills Die-namics. I trimmed off the two ends to create a 4.25" strip to match the panel. I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide to ink up the strip.
For the sentiment, I diecut the "Wish Big" words from the new Wish Big Today Die-namics out of white cardstock 4 times to create some dimension. (NOTE: The actual die actually has the word Today at the bottom but I chose to leave it out this time so as to have enough room on the A2 card front for all of my adorable gnomes.) I layered and adhered all of the layers of the letters with liquid adhesive. I used the negatives from the diecut to adhere the letters to my inked panel also with liquid adhesive.
Finally, I adhered all of my colored images with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest.
