Hello Crafty Friends! Today we are spotlighting products from the MFT November Vault Release that became available yesterday. Be sure to check out the MFT blog and shop for all of the newly released products and inspirations!
I have a fairly clean and simple Christmas card to share with you today. I decided to go out of my comfort zone a bit to create a card on Kraft cardstock (versus my usual white) since I wanted to show off the details of these beautiful snowflakes from the newly released Stylish Snowflakes Die-namics. I love how the white snowflakes pop against that kraft background. I paired them up with a simple sentiment from the new Snowfall of Blessings stamp set.
I diecut the snowflakes using the Stylish Snowflakes Die-namics and white cardstock. For each of the larger snowflakes on my card, I paired and layered two of the diecuts together to get an even more intricate snowflake.
I took a piece of Kraft cardstock and trimmed it with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. I adhered all of the snowflakes with liquid adhesive.
For the sentiment, I stamped of one of the sentiments from the Snowfall of Blessings stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of anti-static treated Red Hot cardstock. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. Using a sharp pair of scissors, I fussy cut the sentiment. I adhered the sentiment to the panel with some foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest.
I adhered the panel to a white card base (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few embellishments from my stash.
As always, I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card. Please also visit my INSTAGRAM feed for more inspirations.
Have a wonderful and crafty day!
Hanh
