MFT Stamps January Release Countdown: YUZU Lovely Lions & Tall Tag Die-namics

 

Hello, Crafty Friends! I'm back with another sneak peek from the MFT January Release Countdown! There's only 3 more days! The January Release will be available on Tuesday, January 9 at 10:00 am EST.

You Make My Heart So Happy! What a great sentiment! I have a sweet, clean and simple card and matching gift tag to share with you today featuring these absolutely adorable lions from the new YUZU Lovely Lions. Aren't they just the sweetest?!

I stamped the images from the YUZU Lovely Lions stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating YUZU Lovely Lions Stamps & Dies Duo dies to cut out the image for the tag.

Lion: YR30/31/21/24/27, YR21 E53/33/37, E37, R00/20

Red: R20/22/24/29/39

Shadow: T0/1/3

For the card, I kept it clean and simple. I trimmed the panel with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics.  I stamped one of the sentiments from the set directly onto the panel with MFT Extreme Black ink. I adhered the panel to a piece of Red Hot cardstock before adhering it to a white cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").

Sending Smooches! For the tag, I used the new Tall Tag Die-namics to diecut 2 tags out of white, Cotton Candy and Red Hot cardstock. On the white tag, I stamped one of the hearts images repeatedly with Cotton Candy ink. I stamped one of the sentiments from the new Smooches stamp set directly onto the tag with MFT Extreme Black ink. 

I added some red dots with a Copic marker (R24) to give it a bit of interest. I assembled the tag as shown, adhered the lion image with foam tape and added some twine.
