Hello, Crafty Friends! I'm sharing another sneak peek from the MFT January Release Countdown! Guess what? The January Release will be available tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9 at 10:00 am EST.
I Love You. That is All! I just LOVE that sentiment! I have a fun and sweet card to share with you today featuring these super adorable mice from the new Stacey Yacula The Micest Thing set. These mice just stole my heart! They are just perfect for a Valentine's Day card but can be used for so many other occasions.
I stamped the images from the SY The Micest Thing stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating SY The Micest Thing Stamps & Dies Duo dies to cut out the images.

For the background, I used a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") and some Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink to ink blend a subtle background. Once the ink was dried, I stamped some heart images from the stamp set directly onto the panel. I colored the hearts with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.
I took another piece of white cardstock and trimmed it with the third and fifth smallest dies from the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set directly onto the panel with MFT Extreme Black ink.

I adhered the diecut panel to the ink blended panel with some foam tape. Then, I adhered all of the colored images onto the panel with foam tape.
Finally, I adhered the panel to a white cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
