MFT Stamps January Release Countdown: Jenoblade Cupigs

Hello, Crafty Friends! Welcome to the first day of the MFT January Release Countdown! We have got an awesome release on its way.  And I am super excited to share a sneak peek with you from this amazing release. The January Release will be available on Tuesday, January 9 at 10:00 am EST.

I Love You Soooo Much! I have a sweet card to share with you today featuring these absolutely ADORABLE critters from the new Jenoblade Cupigs. Jenoblade did it again. These pigs are just the cutest and so perfect for Valentine's Day or just a love note to send to someone special.

I immediately knew that I wanted to create a pink card today because Poppin' Pink is coming back!!! I am so excited that some previously retired cardstock and ink colors are returning to the collection: Moroccan Spice, Poppin' Pink, Candied Yam, Caribbean Sea, Lazy Day, Eiffel Tower, and Vintage Timber.

I stamped the images from the JB Cupigs stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating JB Cupigs Stamps & Die Duo dies to cut them out with.

COPIC COLORS
Pigs: E000/00/01 R20/21/22 E33, R20, C00/1
Birds: C00/1, Y38, R20
Pink: RV02/04/09
White: C00/1

For the background, I took a piece of white card stock (4.25" x 5.5") and created a cloudy background with the Cloud stencil and some Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink. I trimmed it with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics.

For the sentiment, I stamped of one of the sentiments from the set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of anti-static treated Black Licorice cardstock. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. The sentiment was then trimmed out with one of the dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics.

I adhered the sentiment strip and the colored image to the panel with foam tape for dimension and interest. Finally, I adhered the panel to a piece of Poppin' Pink cardstock before adhering to a white cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
