Sweet November Stamps: Love Notes Clear Stamp Release: Valentine Sweetwees

 

Hello, Crafty Friends! Guess what? There's a Sweet November Stamps Love Notes Clear Stamp Release today. 

As Valentine’s Day approaches, Sweet November Stamps is getting ready for this season of love with our new Love Notes clear stamp release.  There are 7 new stamp sets and 4 sequin mixes that will have you falling head over heels for them.  

Kisses For You!  I have a sweet card to share with you today featuring one of my favorite stamp sets from this release: SNS Valentine Sweetwees. This is a huge clear stamp set with so many adorable images. I will certainly be playing with several of these in upcoming cards. For my card today, I used this super cute fairy who is spreading love and kisses everywhere.

I stamped the fairy image from the new SNS Valentine Sweetwees stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Next, I masked off part of the stamp and only partially inked up one of the kiss part of the same image and stamped that onto the same card panel. I also stamped some branches from the new SNS  Background Builder: Day at the Park clear stamp set onto the edges of the panel with Memento London Fog ink for a more subtle and almost no line look. I stamped the same images onto a piece of masking paper and fussy cut them out to create masks. 

I adhered the masks onto the stamped images. I used MFT Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to create a cloudy background. I removed the masks, colored the images with Copic markers and accented with a white gel pen.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the Valentine Sweetwees stamp set directly onto the panel. I used the largest die from the MFT A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX set 2 Die-namics to trim the panel. I adhered the panel onto a piece of red cardstock before adhering it to a white card base (4.25" x 5.5").
